TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

Subsurface Certainty Before the First Cut

Strikes on undocumented utilities account for the largest share of avoidable project delays and safety incidents on Saudi infrastructure sites. Air Solutions deploys a dual-system approach — multi-frequency GPR paired with electromagnetic line tracing — to deliver verifiable subsurface clearance before excavation begins.

Antenna selection is matched to target depth and resolution: 250–500 MHz for deep utility corridors, 1.6 GHz for shallow rebar mapping and pavement integrity. All scans are positioned with RTK-corrected GNSS to ±2 cm and recorded with timestamped raw radargrams for downstream verification.

Each detected line is graded by evidence quality — from radar-confirmed-and-tracer-verified down to inferred-from-records-only — so engineers know exactly which lines are safe to dig over and which require additional investigation.
